Analysis of Ahrefs estimates examines how organic search visibility affects online discovery for news domains

Big Data Marketing has released a new analysis of estimated US organic search traffic across 20 major news media and related domains, using Ahrefs data to examine how search visibility affects online discovery for news audiences.

The analysis reviewed Ahrefs organic traffic estimates for a competitor set generated around cbsnews.com. Big Data Marketing said the findings show a two-tier search landscape in which national news brands, public media outlets, wire services, local affiliates, and government domains compete for visibility across overlapping search queries.

According to the Ahrefs estimates reviewed by Big Data Marketing, foxnews.com showed an estimated 27.7 million monthly organic visits, while cnn.com showed approximately 26.4 million estimated monthly organic visits. In the same dataset, bbc.com appeared third with an estimated 15.7 million monthly organic visits.

The analysis also found that nbcnews.com and cbsnews.com each showed approximately 8.6 million estimated monthly organic visits. Big Data Marketing said the gap between the highest- and lowest-ranked domains in the reviewed set illustrates how organic search visibility can vary widely among recognized news organizations, which is further highlighted by RT.com drawing an estimated 200,000 monthly US organic visits and cgtn.com bringing in about 50,000.

Public media and wire service domains also appeared in the reviewed data. PBS showed an estimated 6 million monthly organic visits, while NPR showed approximately 4.8 million. Reuters showed an estimated 4.2 million monthly organic visits, while AP News showed approximately 3.3 million.

Big Data Marketing said government domains were another notable part of the dataset. According to the Ahrefs estimates, justice.gov showed approximately 3.9 million estimated monthly organic visits, house.gov showed approximately 3.8 million, and whitehouse.gov showed approximately 2.5 million. The company said this suggests that, for some policy, legal, and government-related search queries, primary source domains may appear alongside or compete with news publishers in search results.

The analysis also reviewed several local affiliate domains, including abc7chicago.com, abc7.com, abc7ny.com, and fox9.com. These regional properties showed estimated monthly organic visits ranging from approximately 350,000 to 2 million in the Ahrefs dataset.

Big Data Marketing said the findings reflect the growing role of search in how audiences encounter news content online. While direct navigation, bookmarks, apps, newsletters, social platforms, and paid distribution remain important, organic search visibility has become a major factor in digital news discovery.

“The homepage used to be the front door of a news organization,” the analysis states. “Search is now one of the most important entry points. Understanding which outlets are gaining visibility in that environment, and why, is increasingly relevant to digital media strategy.”

According to Big Data Marketing, estimated organic traffic can be influenced by indexed content volume, keyword coverage, site authority, backlink profiles, technical accessibility, archive depth, and publishing consistency. The company said outlets with large searchable archives and strong technical search foundations may have an advantage over time.

Big Data Marketing said the report is intended to help media organizations, communications teams, and digital strategists better understand how search visibility affects news discovery and competitive positioning online.

Methodology and Data Notice

Traffic figures in this release are Ahrefs organic traffic model estimates derived from keyword ranking data and estimated search volumes. The figures represent estimated monthly organic search visits and do not include direct traffic, referral traffic, social media traffic, newsletter traffic, app traffic, paid search, or subscription-based audience activity. Actual publisher traffic may differ. The competitor set was generated by Ahrefs based on keyword overlap with cbsnews.com and was not a curated editorial selection. All figures should be treated as directional estimates, not verified publisher traffic data.

According to Terra Lux Founder Mayan Metzler, the initiative reflects the company’s belief that homes should support health and well-being in addition to providing shelter.

“Our homes influence how we sleep, what we eat, how productive we are, how connected we feel to nature, and ultimately how healthy we become,” Metzler said. “We believe the next generation of homes should actively improve the lives of the people living in them.”

The company defines a Healing Home as a living environment intentionally designed to support healthier lifestyles through thoughtful design, natural light, clean air, clean water, food-growing systems, and technologies that encourage overall well-being.

As part of this vision, Terra Lux has selected advanced modular construction as a key component of its long-term strategy. Metzler said the company evaluated several manufacturers before identifying SpaceDome’s modular building technology as the best fit for its objectives.

“The goal isn’t simply to build faster,” Metzler said. “It’s to build better. We were impressed by the engineering, manufacturing quality, and attention to detail behind the technology.”

Terra Lux also announced plans to expand collaboration with innovators in Ukraine, where Metzler will visit manufacturing facilities, meet engineers and designers, and document the production process.

“Innovation has no borders,” he said. “Ukraine has produced extraordinary engineers, designers, entrepreneurs, and manufacturers. We wanted to highlight the innovation that continues despite the challenges the country has faced and build long-term relationships that benefit everyone involved.”

The company said Big Hollow Green will become the first demonstration site for its Healing Homes concept, providing visitors with an opportunity to experience modular architecture alongside wellness technologies, food-growing systems, and sustainable design principles.

“Big Hollow Green was never intended to be just another development,” Metzler said. “It’s a living laboratory where people can experience what Healing Homes are designed to offer.”
Beyond residential housing, Terra Lux believes modular construction can support a variety of applications, including guest accommodations, wellness retreats, creative workspaces, hospitality projects, and educational environments.

The company also continues to expand the Futurist Network, its collaborative platform connecting architects, builders, developers, entrepreneurs, investors, scientists, and creators working on future-focused projects.

“The real value isn’t the software it’s the people,” Metzler said. “Technology is important. Community is transformational.”

Terra Lux said collaboration will remain central to its long-term strategy, including support for projects focused on wellness, sustainable communities, and innovative living environments. The company also continues preparations for FutureFest, an event designed to bring together innovators working across architecture, technology, wellness, and community development.

Looking ahead, Metzler said the company’s objective extends beyond developing homes.

“I hope people will say this was the beginning of a movement,” he said. “A movement that recognizes healthier people begins with healthier environments. The future won’t be built by one company. It will be built by communities of people who believe we can live better—and are willing to create it together.”

Ancient Maa Baglamukhi Siddha Peeth Nalkheda Expands Worldwide Access Through Authentic Online Baglamukhi Puja and Havan Services

A Tradition Rooted in Nalkheda

For generations, devotees seeking the protective and transformative power of Maa Baglamukhi have traveled to the banks of the Lakhundar River in Nalkheda, home to one of India’s most recognized Siddha Peeths. Today, that same Vedic tradition is reaching a far wider audience through a structured, transparent online Baglamukhi Puja service offered to devotees who cannot travel to the temple in person.

What makes this shift significant is not a change in ritual content but a change in access. The mantras, the havan samagri, and the sequence of offerings remain exactly as prescribed in traditional Baglamukhi Tantra. The only difference is that a devotee in London, Dubai, or Bengaluru can now witness and participate in the same ceremony that was once available only to those who could physically reach Nalkheda.

This expansion has been gradual and deliberate, built over several years rather than launched overnight, with each step tested against the expectations of devotees who had grown wary of impersonal or unverifiable online religious services.

Guided by an Experienced Vedic Practitioner

The service is led by Acharya Tiwari Chetan Guru, a Vedic practitioner who has spent more than two decades performing Baglamukhi Havan and related rituals at Nalkheda. Acharya Ji is not associated with the temple’s management or ownership; rather, he is a long-practicing ritual specialist who conducts ceremonies at the site on behalf of devotees, drawing on years of training in Vedic and Tantric procedures specific to the Baglamukhi tradition.

His approach is described by long-standing devotees as methodical rather than performative. Before any ritual is booked, the devotee’s situation is discussed in detail, a step Acharya Ji considers essential to recommending the correct ceremony rather than a generic, one-size-fits-all puja.

Devotees who have worked with Acharya Ji over multiple years often note that he is direct about what a ritual can and cannot be expected to do, avoiding the exaggerated promises that have damaged trust in online spiritual services more broadly.

How Remote Participation Works

Through a live video connection, individuals located anywhere in the world can take part in their personal Sankalp, the formal declaration of intent that precedes any Vedic ceremony, while the Maa Baglamukhi Puja is performed at the havan kund. Photographs and short video updates are shared throughout the ceremony, a practice introduced specifically to address skepticism around remote religious services.

Devotees are also given the option to request a full recording of their ritual once it concludes, giving them a permanent record of the ceremony performed in their name and Gotra.
The technical setup is intentionally kept simple, requiring only a smartphone and a stable internet connection on the devotee’s side, since the goal has been to make participation possible for devotees of all ages and varying levels of comfort with technology.

Ritual Services Available

Screenshot 2026 07 06 124404 Ancient Maa Baglamukhi Siddha Peeth Nalkheda Expands Worldwide Access Through Authentic Online Baglamukhi Puja and Havan Services

All rituals are performed by Acharya Tiwari Chetan Guru personally at the Nalkheda havan kund. Online participation is available worldwide through live WhatsApp video. Energized Prasad is dispatched to all locations internationally.

A Range of Rituals for Different Needs

Services are organized into clearly defined categories, from the foundational Maa Baglamukhi Hawan to more intensive observances such as the Maa Baglamukhi Anushthan, each suited to a different category of concern, ranging from prolonged legal disputes to sustained personal opposition.

Devotees are first guided through a consultation in which their specific circumstances are discussed before any ceremony is recommended, a process intended to mirror the personalized approach traditionally associated with experienced temple priests rather than commercial puja vendors.

This consultation-first model has become a defining feature of the service, distinguishing it from listings that simply offer a menu of rituals without first understanding what a devotee is actually facing.

Why Devotees Continue to Choose Nalkheda

Nalkheda’s standing as a Swayambhu, or self-manifested, Siddha Peeth gives it a distinct place among India’s Shakti sites, and this spiritual weight is part of why devotees specifically seek out rituals performed at this location rather than at a generic home puja. The energetic continuity of a site worshipped without interruption for centuries is, according to practitioners of Tantric tradition, a meaningful factor in the strength of any ritual performed there.

Many devotees who initially approach the service with hesitation say that the deciding factor was not marketing but the consistency of detail, correct mantra pronunciation, accurate ritual sequencing, and a willingness to explain each step rather than rush through it.

Addressing Common Devotee Concerns

A frequent question from first-time devotees is whether a ritual performed remotely carries the same spiritual weight as one attended in person. Acharya Ji’s response, consistent with classical Vedic teaching on Sankalp, is that intention and lineage, rather than physical proximity, are what connect a devotee to the ritual being performed in their name.

Another common concern relates to authenticity in a market where unverified online puja services have proliferated. This is addressed directly through the live video format itself, since devotees see the ceremony unfold in real time rather than relying on a vendor’s word after the fact.

Resources for Independent Practice

Alongside ritual bookings, devotional material has been published to support devotees between formal ceremonies, including the complete Baglamukhi Chalisa and detailed explanations of the Baglamukhi Mantra and its accompanying Beej Mantra. These resources are made freely available so devotees can deepen their personal practice without needing to book a formal ceremony each time.

Devotees are also encouraged to explore the Baglamukhi Yantra as a complementary practice for those who wish to maintain a daily connection to the goddess’s energy at home.

Media Contact

For consultations or to schedule an online or in-person ritual, devotees can contact Acharya Tiwari Chetan Guru directly by phone or WhatsApp at +91 9074342490 or via email at [email protected].

The services are offered from Maa Baglamukhi Temple Road, Nalkheda, Agar Malwa, Madhya Pradesh 465445, India, providing spiritual guidance and traditional Vedic rituals for devotees worldwide.
