Meridianbet Leads the B2C Division of Meridian Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: MRDN)

Meridian Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: MRDN) (the “Company”) today announced that the Company’s subsidiary Meridianbet has been named Official Partner of UFC Fight Night Serbia, a mixed-martial-arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), scheduled for August 1, 2026 at Belgrade Arena in Belgrade, Serbia.

The event will be the first UFC has ever held in Serbia, where Meridianbet will be its exclusive sponsor in the sports-betting category. The partnership will include branding inside the Octagon during the event, logo placement across official event marketing (including the fight poster and round cards), an in-venue commercial at Belgrade Arena and a digital and social media campaign across UFC’s web, video and social channels.

The event will air live in the United States on Paramount+ and will be distributed internationally through UFC’s broadcast partners, reaching a global audience.

“Serbia is where Meridianbet’s story began 25 years ago, and there is no bigger stage to mark that anniversary than UFC’s first-ever event in the country,” said William Scott, Chief Executive Officer of Meridian Holdings. “Combat sports sponsorship has long been part of our brand strategy, and partnering with one of the most-watched properties in global sports is a natural next step as we continue to build visibility for our firm across the region and the world.”

Meridianbet was founded in Serbia in 2001 and has since operated in the market continuously. The partnership with UFC marks the brand’s most visible association with a global sports property to date.

Tujamo confirmed for a 3,000-capacity night at one of Asia’s most storied venues, with a headliner announcement still to come.

The Best Event, the production house behind more than 130 events across 24 cities globally, will bring AFTERDARK to Singapore’s Capitol Theatre on October 5 — a single, standalone night built for the week Token2049 and the Singapore Grand Prix collide on the same calendar. Tujamo is confirmed on the lineup, with a headliner announcement still to come and additional artists to be named in the following weeks.

The Best Event is expecting more than 5,000 registrations for a room that holds 3,000. GA is free, but entry isn’t guaranteed — VIP is the only way to lock your spot, and doors open early for everyone else on a first come, first served basis.

Tickets are live now at luma.com/tbe-afterdark.

AFTERDARK lands ten minutes from Marina Bay Sands, the same week The Best Event also runs CoinFerenceX × The Best Event Singapore during the day on October 5th and 6th— giving the city back-to-back marquee events during the industry’s most concentrated week of the year.

“AFTERDARK is where we’re going all in,” said Tobias Bauer, Co-Founder of The Best Event and General Partner at TBV. “We built this night from the ground up for the people who travel around the world and trust our events to meet the leaders of our industry — builders, investors, institutions, creators who are tired of the same formula and want a night that matches the scale of what they’re building. Capitol Theatre, a headline lineup, and the full weight of our production behind it. This sets the bar for what a Web3 event night looks like in Singapore, our home market.”

CR1 The Best Event Brings AFTERDARK to Singapore’s Capitol Theatre for Token2049 Week

Two Nights in One

The evening opens with two hours of VIP-only networking, anchored by a KOL Awards ceremony on the main stage — before doors open to General Admission, first come, first served.

The lineup is confirmed so far by Tujamo, the German electro-house producer behind chart-topping collaborations with Steve Aoki, Chris Lake, and Plastik Funk, and a fixture on festival mainstages worldwide, and Ariel Estrella, the Afro House DJ and producer who’s built a global following from Europe to Asia. A headliner announcement — along with more tier-one names — is coming in the weeks ahead.

The Best Event is planned for a crowd of more than 5,000, with VIP networking, global press and media coverage on the night to match. It’s shaping up to be one of the most talked-about nights of Token2049 week.

The Venue

Capitol Theatre isn’t a standard rental — it’s Singapore’s restored art deco landmark, and one of the only venues in the region built with a fully convertible, rotational seating system that flips from tiered theatre to open dance floor in under eight minutes. The stage has hosted private performances from Ed Sheeran, Eric Prydz, Calum Scott, Tinashe, Yungblud, The Darkness, Passenger, and The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. It’s the rare room built for both spectacle and a proper dance floor — which is exactly what this night needs.

$1 Million Allocation Offers 500,000 NVIDIA H200 GPU Hours at $2 Per Hour With No Expiration and Lifetime Lowest-Cost Match in North America

Infinidium Power Corp. today announced its Founding Customer Program, offering enterprises, AI developers, cloud compute users and service providers early access to its proprietary Vortex Vacuum Chamber [VVC] AI infrastructure.

9e7fa3be 98b9 442e bab6 35b7e562f310 1 Infinidium Power Launches Founding Customer Program For Next-Generation AI Infrastructure Designed To Break Data Center Bottlenecks

The program offers $1 million of NVIDIA H200 capacity at $2 per GPU hour, representing 500,000 GPU hours with no expiration. Founding customers receive priority access to the initial 16-GPU deployment, preferred future capacity and a lifetime lowest-cost match in North America for comparable, verifiable H200 enterprise pricing, subject to definitive agreements.

Free cooling is the breakthrough. Net-positive energy and heat recovery in one envelope is the destination.

The VVC is designed to address four major constraints confronting AI infrastructure: cooling, power demand, capital cost and deployment time.

VVC Removes the Cooling Cost Layer

VVC removes the cooling cost layer from the data center. By eliminating conventional electrical cooling, cooling-water systems, refrigerants and major mechanical cooling equipment, the architecture is designed to reduce both capital and operating costs to a small fraction of conventional systems.

The VVC is grounded in established fluid mechanics and thermodynamics: Navier–Stokes, continuity, Boussinesq buoyancy, Archimedes’ principle, hydrostatic pressure, stack/chimney effect, natural convection, thermal stratification, boundary-layer heat transfer, Fourier’s law, Newton’s law of cooling, Bernoulli/continuity flow, Reynolds/Grashof/Rayleigh/Nusselt relationships, and conservation of energy. Together these principles explain the VVC’s heat-driven airflow, pressure differential, heat transfer, and exhaust heat recovery, with CFD and prototype testing providing supporting validation.

Rapid Permitting

VVC is designed to be deployed as server-room infrastructure within existing commercial, office and industrial space, avoiding the need for the extensive greenfield development approvals associated with conventional data centers.

With limited modifications such as rooftop ventilation, electrical upgrades and connectivity, the approach is designed to simplify permitting and potentially accelerate deployment in days compared with the months or years associated with conventional data-center development. Infinidium currently targets initial customer compute within 45 days, subject to procurement, commissioning and site-specific requirements.

jerry 1 1 Infinidium Power Launches Founding Customer Program For Next-Generation AI Infrastructure Designed To Break Data Center Bottlenecks

A Global AI Infrastructure Bottleneck

The world now operates approximately 11,800 data centers, while AI is driving dramatically higher power densities and cooling requirements.

Industry tracking reported by major financial publications indicates that at least $156 billion of data center projects were blocked or stalled by local opposition in 2025. Texas alone has more than 1,800 projects in its large-load queue representing over 474 GW of potential demand, with approximately 90% associated with data centers, as the state moves to audit projects before new grid connections proceed. In Europe, European Commission research identifies limited access to energy and lengthy permitting procedures among significant obstacles to scaling data-center infrastructure.

JLL reports 57% of global data center projects experienced construction delays of three months or more in 2025, while the average global construction time for a 50 MW facility is approximately 18 months.

Infinidium is designed to address this bottleneck by reducing the infrastructure required to deploy high-density compute and enabling suitable existing buildings to become AI infrastructure.

Turning Thermal Waste Into an Energy Opportunity

Typically 85% of electricity consumed by servers converts into heat. Conventional infrastructure then spends additional energy, capital and, in many facilities, water and/or refrigerants to remove that heat. The VVC is designed to eliminate the conventional cooling cycle while harvesting value from the resulting thermal energy that is otherwise released into the environment.

Kinetic heat escaping from the VVC is captured and returned as internal power regeneration as hot cold side walls enable additional heat recovery. The architecture utilizes 3 phases of proven technologies that can lower external power beyond 30% in total.

Nvidia Strategic Positioning

Infinidium is an NVIDIA Inception Partner and is collaborating with Dell Technologies on enterprise computing infrastructure customizations under warranty. The passive cooling mechanism is supported by independent extensive CFD analysis, feasibility studies and prototype testing.

Sustainability Creates Additional Value

VVC is designed to operate without water-based cooling, refrigerants or conventional electrical cooling systems. The architecture also creates opportunities to recover waste heat and reintegrate a portion of that energy as supplemental onsite power.

jerry 2 1 Infinidium Power Launches Founding Customer Program For Next-Generation AI Infrastructure Designed To Break Data Center Bottlenecks

Company modeling identifies approximately 1,400 tonnes of CO₂e avoidance per year per 5 MW deployment, with potential future GHG-credit monetization subject to measurement, verification and applicable methodologies.

Founding Customer Program and Pre-IPO/Seed Round

The Founding Customer allocation is capped at $1 million and will close upon allocation.

Separately, Infinidium is advancing its $1 million Seed Round at a $9 million pre-money valuation, with Castle Placement as placement partner. Proceeds are intended for GPU and hardware procurement, VVC fabrication, integration and working capital.

Paul Grist, Founder and CEO

“AI is becoming constrained by the physical systems required to power and cool it,” said Paul Grist, Founder and CEO of Infinidium Power. “Virtually all electricity consumed by computing hardware ultimately becomes heat, and we then spend more energy, capital and water to remove it. VVC is designed to eliminate that conventional cooling cycle, recover value from thermal waste, and put high-performance compute into existing buildings that can deploy far faster.”

About Infinidium Power Corp.

Infinidium Power Corp. is developing the Vortex Vacuum Chamber, a next-generation AI infrastructure platform designed to eliminate conventional electrical cooling, reduce external power demand through thermal recovery, and enable high-density compute inside existing commercial, industrial and other suitable buildings. The company is based in Calgary, AB.

Technical disclosure: Prototype results support the underlying passive cooling mechanism. Heat recovery, power reintegration, CAPEX and OPEX savings, external power-demand reductions, GHG avoidance and deployment timelines are developmental or modeled targets and remain subject to commercial-scale validation and site-specific conditions. Customer pricing, the lifetime lowest-cost match and other program terms are subject to verification and definitive agreements. Seed financing is subject to applicable offering documents, securities laws and investor eligibility requirements.

Summit County homeowners in Park City, Deer Valley, Empire Pass, Promontory, the Waldorf Astoria, The Canyons and The Colony at White Pine, and Wasatch County homeowners in Deer Crest, Hideout and the Grand Hyatt at Deer Valley East Village, seek $156 million in reductions after 2026 valuation notices delivered some of the steepest increases in years

Wayne Levinson, a Park City global real estate advisor who also represents homeowners in property tax appeals through his practice, ParkCityTax.com, has filed 210 property tax appeals with the Summit County Board of Equalization and the Wasatch County Board of Equalization for the 2026 tax year. The appeals cover more than $836 million in assessed property value and request more than $156 million in reductions on behalf of Summit County and Wasatch County homeowners.

In 2026, Wayne Levinson of ParkCityTax.com filed 210 property tax appeals in Summit County and Wasatch County, Utah, representing $836 million in assessed value and $156 million in requested reductions — the largest single-season appeal volume he has filed.

d1 1 Wayne Levinson Files 210 Summit County and Wasatch County Property Tax Appeals, Challenging $836 Million in 2026 Assessments
Appeals filed by area, with assessed value under appeal. Navy = Summit County; gold = Wasatch County.

The 2026 Summit County and Wasatch County valuation notices brought unusually large single-year increases across the area’s resort communities. Many owners in newer developments — including the Grand Hyatt at Deer Valley East Village, the Waldorf Astoria in The Canyons, and Empire Pass — saw assessments rise 30 to 60 percent, and some received notices exceeding the price they paid for their property as recently as December 2024.

“An assessment is supposed to reflect what a property would actually sell for on January 1, whether it’s a condominium in Deer Valley or a home in Promontory,” Levinson said. “When the county’s own records carry the wrong square footage, or when a home just sold at arm’s length for far less than the notice, the owner has every right to ask the Summit County or Wasatch County Board of Equalization to look again. That’s all an appeal is.”

The 210 appeals span single-family homes, condominiums, townhomes and vacant land: 174 Summit County property tax appeals across Park City real estate in Deer Valley, Empire Pass, The Canyons, the Waldorf Astoria Park City, The Colony at White Pine, Promontory, Jeremy Ranch, Pinebrook, Old Town, Silver Creek and Coalville, and 36 Wasatch County property tax appeals in Deer Crest, the Grand Hyatt at Deer Valley East Village, Hideout, Tuhaye and Victory Ranch. Roughly one in six appeals rests on a documented factual error in the county’s property record, most commonly square footage, with the balance supported by closed comparable sales, recent arm’s-length purchases of the subject property itself, and, in several cases, appraisals commissioned by the county.

Decisions issued to date have granted reductions in every resolved case, including a stipulated correction at Argent at Empire Pass, above Deer Valley, where the county’s recorded square footage exceeded the recorded plat, and two Promontory appeals where the Assessor’s own appraisals confirmed the assessments were too high. The largest single group of appeals — more than 30 residences — is at the Waldorf Astoria Park City, where owners of hotel-managed condominiums received notices well above recent resale prices.

Independent hearing officers began hearing contested appeals this week, with hearings scheduled through October. Decisions are typically issued within 30 to 60 days of hearing.
Levinson, a licensed Utah real estate agent affiliated with Engel & Völkers Park City, has represented local owners in valuation appeals for several seasons and works on a contingency basis: clients pay nothing unless their appeal succeeds. Utah law allows any Summit County or Wasatch County property owner to appeal a valuation; the 2026 filing deadline was September 15.

“This year’s volume says something about how far assessments have drifted from the market in certain neighborhoods,” Levinson added. “I sell these homes, so I see what they actually trade for. My goal in an appeal is simply an assessment that matches reality. Sometimes that’s a stipulation in a week; sometimes it’s a hearing. Either way the homeowner deserves to be heard.”

Think your 2027 assessment may be too high? Summit County and Wasatch County homeowners interested in having their property reviewed for the 2027 appeal season can learn more about the Summit County and Wasatch County property tax appeal service at ParkCityTax.com.

Frequently asked questions

When is the Summit County and Wasatch County property tax appeal deadline? For Summit and Wasatch Counties, appeals of the annual valuation notice are due to the county Board of Equalization by September 15 (or within 45 days of the notice mailing). The 2026 deadline has passed; the 2027 window opens when valuation notices are mailed in late July or early August 2027.

Can I appeal my Summit County or Wasatch County property tax assessment? Yes. Any Summit County or Wasatch County property owner may appeal the market value shown on their notice. The appeal must be filed with the county Board of Equalization and supported by evidence such as a recent purchase, comparable sales, an appraisal, or a documented error in the county’s property record.

What does a Summit County or Wasatch County property tax appeal cost? Filing with the county Board of Equalization is free. ParkCityTax.com represents owners on a contingency basis, so clients pay nothing unless the appeal succeeds; the fee is a percentage of the first-year tax savings.
