A Local Restaurant Decided Not to Raise Prices. Instead, They’re Sending Guests Home With Another Meal.

As families across metro Atlanta continue feeling the pressure of rising grocery bills and higher everyday expenses, one locally owned restaurant is responding in an unexpected way—not by asking guests to spend more, but by helping them stretch every dollar.

Louisiana Bistreaux has launched a limited-time promotion that gives every dine-in guest who purchases an entrée a FREE Cajun Shrimp Pasta to take home, providing what owner Fred believes is something everyone could use right now: one less meal to worry about.

“Everyone is feeling the impact of higher prices—from families buying groceries to restaurants purchasing ingredients,” said Fred, owner of Louisiana Bistreaux. “We can’t solve inflation, but we can make dinner tomorrow a little easier. Hospitality has always been about taking care of people, and this is our way of doing just that.”

The promotion is available Monday through Thursday at all Louisiana Bistreaux locations and reflects the restaurant’s commitment to serving both exceptional food and the community it calls home.

At a time when many restaurants are reducing portions or increasing prices, Louisiana Bistreaux chose a different path—adding value without sacrificing quality.

Whether it’s tomorrow’s lunch at work, dinner after a long day, or simply one less meal to prepare, the complimentary Cajun Shrimp Pasta is meant to give guests a little extra during a time when every dollar counts.

New healthcare management guide presents daily metrics, warning thresholds, and practical playbooks for protecting revenue performance.

Patricia Roels has announced the forthcoming release of Cash Before Crisis: The Revenue Cycle Playbook for Managers Who Hate Surprises, a resource for healthcare revenue cycle leaders seeking to detect operational problems before they become serious cash-flow emergencies.

Healthcare organizations often measure performance through monthly collection totals and other results that reveal what has already happened. Cash Before Crisis introduces a proactive approach based on monitoring the processes and warning signals that influence future financial outcomes.

The book identifies seven daily metrics that provide an early view of revenue cycle performance. These include denial rate, first-pass resolution rate, clean claim rate, authorization approval rate, cash collected versus expected, and accounts receivable older than 90 days. Readers learn what the metrics indicate, how they work together, and when changes require attention.

“Cash flow problems don’t appear out of nowhere. They leave clues for weeks before they become crises. The managers who avoid disasters aren’t lucky. They built a system that reads those clues early and responds before the damage compounds,”— Roels writes in the book.

Cash Before Crisis moves beyond identifying problems by providing structured playbooks for high-pressure situations. The guide outlines response steps for denial spikes, deteriorating accounts receivable, payer delays, system outages, and coding-error surges. It also examines front-end breakdowns involving registration, eligibility, and prior authorization, showing how small process failures can later affect reimbursement.

Additional sections address cross-department accountability, team development, leadership communication, and the creation of an operation that does not depend on one manager personally catching every problem. A 90-day implementation plan helps readers translate the book’s principles into workplace changes.

Created for revenue cycle managers, business office leaders, healthcare administrators, and executives, the book is intended for professionals seeking clearer operational visibility, stronger accountability, and fewer financial surprises.

Ahead of its release, Cash Before Crisis will be showcased at the Frankfurt Book Fair (Frankfurter Buchmesse), taking place October 7–11, 2026, in Frankfurt, Germany. As the world’s largest international publishing event, the fair brings together publishers, literary agents, booksellers, and industry professionals from around the globe. The book’s presence at Frankfurt offers an opportunity to introduce its practical, prevention-focused approach to revenue cycle management to an international audience of publishing and professional-development leaders.

Cash Before Crisis: The Revenue Cycle Playbook for Managers Who Hate Surprises will be available soon.

Avi Basu, Founder, CEO Wingsure

Wingsure originated as a spinout of SRI International, where its technology foundation incorporated work in computer vision, geospatial analytics and augmented reality. SRI has separately documented Wingsure’s spinout history and the use of these technologies in its agricultural applications.

Coffee production supports millions of farming households worldwide. According to the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, up to 25 million farmers and their families depend on coffee, while smallholder farms account for a significant share of global coffee production.

Against that backdrop, coffee companies and agricultural organizations are managing requirements related to sourcing, traceability, sustainability, production and risk. Individual farms may currently be assessed separately for sustainability, sourcing, production, certification, finance and risk programs, resulting in repeated data collection and fragmented farm records.

Wingsure COFFEA™ is designed to address that fragmentation by capturing evidence at farm level, associating it with information about where and when it was collected, and developing a record that can be updated over successive seasons and used across multiple programs.

“What excites us about coffee is the opportunity to bring years of foundational deep-tech work to one of the world’s most important agricultural ecosystems — and to do it in a way that creates value on both sides of the farm gate,” said Avi Basu, Founder and CEO of Wingsure. “We have been fortunate to learn alongside some of the most respected organizations and people in coffee. One lesson has become very clear: a farm cannot be understood through a periodic form, a declaration or a satellite image alone. It is a living system.”

“Our job is to turn what is happening on that farm into trusted intelligence that gets better over time. For the grower, that means a farm record that becomes more valuable with every season. For the enterprise, it means a common intelligence foundation for better decisions across sustainability, sourcing, production, risk and finance.”

For growers, the platform is intended to help preserve observations, farming practices and field records that might otherwise remain distributed across separate surveys and programs. Over time, these records can help document agricultural practices and progress and support more relevant advisory programs.

Through participating programs, farm-level information may also be used in connection with initiatives involving incentives, agricultural insurance or credit, subject to the requirements of the applicable program or provider.

Using a compatible smartphone, Wingsure COFFEA™ combines augmented-reality-guided data capture, multilingual voice capabilities, computer vision, geospatial analytics, artificial intelligence and machine learning. SRI has described COFFEA™ as using guided field capture, multilingual voice interaction, computer vision and geospatial analysis to create time-stamped farm records, including in environments with limited connectivity.

“AI is only as credible as the evidence beneath it,” said Dr. Bikram Sengupta, Co-founder and CTO of Wingsure. “Our architecture keeps every insight connected to what was captured, where and when. That allows verification, inference and prediction to become part of one traceable intelligence system. The goal is not simply more data. It is intelligence you can trust.”

Together, these capabilities are designed to create an evolving information layer covering areas such as crop conditions, farming practices, production signals and agricultural risk. Rather than operating solely as a standalone application, Wingsure COFFEA™ is intended to complement enterprise systems and programs involving sustainability, sourcing, traceability, agricultural finance and risk.

SRI has reported that the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation (FNC) and Tata AIG General Insurance Company Ltd. are among the organizations engaging with Wingsure as it develops applications for farm-level intelligence.

Álvaro Gaitán, Technical Manager of the Colombian Coffee Growers Federation (FNC), said:

“As a grower-led institution, FNC is focused on building the next generation of capabilities Colombian coffee producers will need to compete globally. Better, more timely farm intelligence is central to that vision. We are engaging with Wingsure to explore how its technology can complement FNC’s existing capabilities and help strengthen the coffee ecosystem for Colombian growers.”

FNC’s existing Coffee Information System, known as SICA, already provides georeferenced and socioeconomic information across Colombia’s coffee sector. The current engagement with Wingsure is exploratory and should not be interpreted as a completed commercial partnership or confirmed technical integration.

From the agricultural risk and insurance sector, Madhukar Sinha, President – Govt & Rural Business at Tata AIG General Insurance Company Ltd., said:

“Agricultural insurance has an important role to play in building farmer resilience, but achieving that at scale requires a much clearer and more timely understanding of what is actually happening at the farm. Wingsure’s approach is compelling because it connects verified field evidence with the intelligence needed for risk assessment and decision-making. The ability to create a trusted, continuously developing record of the farm can be valuable not only for insurance, but across the broader agricultural ecosystem. We believe Wingsure is addressing an important challenge with technology that has the potential to operate at a meaningful scale.”

Tata AIG’s official corporate information identifies the insurer as a joint venture between the Tata Group and American International Group and includes rural and agricultural insurance among its general-insurance offerings.

The COFFEA™ launch builds on Wingsure’s work in agricultural technology involving farm-level information, crop assessment and insurance-related applications. SRI previously documented Wingsure’s use of computer vision and geospatial analysis for crop assessment as part of its agricultural technology platform.

Within the coffee sector, COFFEA™ extends that technology foundation toward applications involving farm records, sourcing, production, sustainability and agricultural risk. The platform is designed so that observations, interventions and seasonal information can contribute to a developing farm record rather than requiring a separate evidence base for each new program or analysis.

Following the September 28 launch, Wingsure participated in two coffee-industry gatherings in Switzerland: the Global Coffee Platform’s 10th Anniversary Celebration in Geneva on September 30 and the Swiss Coffee Trade Association’s 17th Forum & Dinner in Montreux on October 1–2.

Reevo Launches Mobile AI Sales App to Keep Deals Moving Beyond the Desk

New mobile app captures in-person meetings, customer calls and conference conversations, turning them into immediate follow-ups and actions across the sales team

Reevo, the AI-native sales platform, today launched the Reevo mobile app, putting everything the team knows about an account in a seller’s pocket and capturing the conversations that never used to make it back, from conference booths and restaurants to factory floors.

The conversations that move deals forward do not always happen at a desk. A pricing concession, a new commitment or a change in what the customer needs can sit in one seller’s memory for days before the rest of the team knows about it.

The Reevo mobile app closes that gap. Before a meeting, a seller can ask Reevo what has changed with an account, what has been promised and what remains unresolved. During the conversation, they can record and transcribe it directly from their phone, with no separate meeting bot required. The moment it ends, Reevo writes the summary, logs the action items, updates the deal and drafts the follow-up before the seller even returns to their desk.

“The most important sales conversation is often the one that happens away from a scheduled video call,” said David Zhu, founder and CEO of Reevo. “We built the Reevo mobile appso sellers can walk into any conversation with the full context of the account, capture what happens and put the entire company to work on what needs to happen next.”

With the Reevo mobile app, sellers can:

  • Walk into every meeting prepared. Ask Reevo what has changed, what the customer was promised, who is involved and which questions are still open.

  • Record conversations without a bot. Capture and transcribe in-person meetings and customer calls directly from a phone.

  • Turn conversations into action. Generate summaries, identify next steps, update opportunities and draft follow-ups as soon as a meeting ends.

  • Get answers from the rest of the company. Route pricing, security and technical questions to the right colleague and get answers back while the conversation is still moving.

  • Turn badges and business cards into contacts. Photograph a conference badge or business card to create a contact and connect it to the right account or opportunity.

  • Keep the team current from anywhere. Add notes, update deals and review account activity without waiting to return to a computer.

The Reevo mobile app extends Reevo’s AI-native sales platform beyond the desktop, allowing information from the field to reach the rest of the company immediately. A question raised in a customer meeting can reach the right expert. A commitment made over dinner can become a tracked next step. A conversation at a conference booth can become a new contact, opportunity and follow-up before the seller leaves the floor.

The Reevo mobile is available today on the App Store for iPhone and on Google Play for Android devices. To learn more, visit reevo.ai/apps/mobile.
