JWX received an Innovation score of 4.10, placing it among a group Frost & Sullivan says combines strong intellectual property, advanced delivery capabilities and monetization innovation.

The recognition comes as streaming platforms take on a much larger role in media economics. Frost & Sullivan finds that the market is moving beyond basic video delivery toward platforms that bring together content, delivery infrastructure, data and monetization. As streaming businesses focus increasingly on profitability, the firm says competitive advantage is shifting toward platforms that can operate at scale while improving yield and simplifying increasingly complex workflows.

That evolution reflects the streaming delivery capabilities JWX has built across four core areas: live streaming, video-on-demand (VOD), server-side ad insertion (SSAI) and digital rights management (DRM). Together, these capabilities give media companies a modular foundation for running streaming businesses without building and operating every layer themselves. Customers can deploy the capabilities they need within existing technology environments rather than make a monolithic platform decision or undertake a wholesale rebuild.

“Frost & Sullivan’s recognition validates something we have been building toward deliberately,” said David LaPalomento, General Manager of Streaming/CTV at JWX. “Media companies don’t need another closed video platform. They need infrastructure that fits into what they already have, solves the parts they don’t want to build themselves, and helps them make more money from every stream. Frost & Sullivan’s assessment points to capabilities built to grow revenue, not just move video. The firm highlights JWX’s audience-level analytics, which track dozens of behavioral attributes per stream through an in-house, privacy-compliant data stack drawing on billions of monthly first-party signals, and its multicodec delivery, including AI-driven codec selection that lowers encoding and delivery costs. The report also cites JWX’s role serving FAST and hybrid AVOD operators, and points to a revenue optimization architecture, anchored by Just-in-Time Ad Insertion, that treats monetization as core to the platform rather than a bolt-on. JWX also gives ops teams real-time visibility into every live stream as it runs, so issues get caught before they cost viewers. The platform supports streaming across web, mobile and at least 10 connected TV platforms.

JWX operates that delivery infrastructure at a significant scale. The company supports approximately 15 billion streams per month and 160 million viewers per day, with roughly 90 broadcasters under active management. Its platform handles more than 5 billion SSAI ad impressions per month, within a broader monetization footprint of approximately 18 billion monthly ad impressions. Frost & Sullivan’s independent benchmarking places that scale among the largest operator-grade streaming and monetization platforms in the market today.

Infrastructure Built to Monetize

Monetization is increasingly central to that infrastructure position.

Frost & Sullivan identifies JWX’s revenue optimization architecture as a key differentiator, specifically pointing to the way the company has developed SSAI beyond basic ad delivery. JWX uses SSAI as an intelligence and control layer across live and VOD environments, supporting ad decisioning, differentiated ad loads, sponsorship logic and other capabilities designed to improve the economics of each stream.

That approach reflects a broader shift identified by Frost & Sullivan. The analyst firm finds that monetization has become a central differentiator in streaming, with leading platforms increasingly expected to optimize advertising yield in real time rather than simply deliver ads. At the same time, buyers increasingly expect platforms to demonstrate results through measures such as fill rates, revenue uplift and operating efficiency.

JWX’s Just-in-Time Ad Insertion technology is one example. Frost & Sullivan reports that the technology delivered approximately a 50% reduction in SSAI infrastructure costs and a 10% increase in ads per viewer in a major AVOD deployment. Another AVOD customer saw render rates increase from approximately 30-45% to more than 90%.

“Streaming infrastructure used to be judged primarily on whether it could reliably get video from one place to another,” LaPalomento said. “That bar has changed. Reliability is table stakes. The infrastructure now has to help the business perform. For JWX, delivery and monetization belong in the same conversation.”

JWX is extending that approach through a composable architecture designed to work with, rather than replace, customers’ existing technology investments. The company’s streaming strategy encompasses VOD, live streaming, SSAI and DRM, while its longer-term monetization strategy is focused on helping media companies improve yield from infrastructure already in place.

The firm projects the broader market will reach approximately $20.1 billion by 2033, driven in part by hybrid monetization models, the continued migration of live sports and premium content to streaming, and demand for more integrated platform delivery.
