Hong Kong
Sumex, the Hong Kong-based non-custodial crypto SuperApp that brings CeFi and DeFi portfolio management, trading, investing, and rewards into one experience, has integrated SilentSwap to expand its private swap infrastructure.

The integration introduced SilentSwap’s non-custodial private cross-chain swap infrastructure into Sumex, giving users another way to move assets between networks while reducing the direct on-chain visibility between source and destination wallets.
The integration was launched alongside a $5,000 swap competition, which has now successfully concluded.
The Campaign Ended. Privacy Didn’t: SilentSwap Remains Live on Sumex
The Sumex x SilentSwap campaign officially concluded this week, marking the end of its limited-time rewards. But the technology behind the campaign remains available to every Sumex user.
SilentSwap continues to operate as part of Sumex’s aggregated swap infrastructure, giving users ongoing access to privacy-focused cross-chain swaps directly through the Sumex interface.
For Sumex, that distinction matters.
The campaign was temporary. Privacy is infrastructure.
From Campaign Rewards to Cypherpunk Infrastructure
Financial privacy was part of crypto long before points, leaderboards, and reward campaigns.
The cypherpunk movement was built around a simple idea: cryptography can give individuals greater control over their information, identity, and financial activity without requiring them to depend entirely on centralized intermediaries.
Crypto brought that philosophy to asset ownership through self-custody. But controlling your private keys does not automatically mean controlling your financial privacy.
Public blockchains are transparent by design. Transactions can expose relationships between wallets, while repeated interactions can make it easier to connect addresses and build a broader picture of a user’s on-chain activity.
Private swaps address a different side of control: not who owns the assets, but how directly the movement of those assets can be linked on-chain.
This is where SilentSwap adds something distinct to Sumex’s existing private swap infrastructure.
Sumex already integrates multiple provide;s capable of facilitating private swaps. SilentSwap takes a more explicitly cypherpunk approach, using on-chain liquidity rather than routing execution through centralized exchanges.
Its privacy-focused execution is designed to reduce the direct on-chain relationship between sending and receiving wallets. Instead of leaving a straightforward source-to-destination connection, the underlying infrastructure makes that relationship less directly visible from the public ledger.
That does not make blockchain activity invisible. It gives users another tool for deciding how much information their transactions reveal.
And unlike the campaign that introduced more users to the technology, that option isn’t going away.
Privacy Is Another Layer of Control
Non-custodial crypto is fundamentally about control.
Users hold their assets rather than handing custody to an intermediary. Private keys determine who can authorize transactions. Funds can move between wallets, protocols, and networks without requiring a traditional financial institution to approve every action.
But ownership is only one dimension of financial control.
A user can maintain complete custody of their assets while still exposing balances, transaction history, counterparties, and relationships between different wallets.
Consider a straightforward transfer from Wallet A to Wallet B. The transaction creates a visible connection between the two addresses on a public ledger. If one of those addresses has previously been associated with an exchange account, business, public identity, or other known activity, that connection may reveal more information than the user intended.
Privacy-focused execution provides an alternative.
By reducing the direct link between the source and destination of a transaction, private swaps give users greater control over the information created by their on-chain activity.
Privacy as Part of the Sumex Experience
For Sumex, private swaps are not intended to exist as a separate destination or standalone privacy product.
They are another execution option within a broader non-custodial crypto environment.
Sumex brings portfolio management, trading, analytics, investing, and DeFi execution into a unified interface. Users can track their crypto portfolio as a whole across CeFi and DeFi, manage multiple exchange accounts and trades without constantly switching platforms, access advanced analytics directly alongside their trading activity, and execute regular, cross-chain, and private swaps from the same environment.
Its swap infrastructure aggregates thousands of assets and hundreds of thousands of potential routes across multiple blockchain networks and routing providers. Different integrations contribute different liquidity sources, asset coverage, execution models, and privacy capabilities.
SilentSwap adds another option to that infrastructure: a privacy-focused route built around decentralized, on-chain liquidity.
That reflects a broader principle behind Sumex.
The platform does not need to decide how every user should interact with crypto. Instead, it brings different infrastructure together and gives users greater control over how they manage, analyze, and move their assets.
The campaign may have ended.
The infrastructure remains.
Your funds. Your keys. Your transactions. Your choice of how much you reveal.
The Campaign Ended. The Choice Remains.
The SilentSwap campaign has ended successfully, but the reason for integrating private swap infrastructure was never limited to a $5,000 reward pool.

The underlying functionality remains available through Sumex for users who value greater privacy when moving assets across networks.
Crypto gave users greater control over their money.
Privacy-focused infrastructure pushes that idea further by giving users more control over the information their financial activity reveals.

Mold X Inspectors Highlights Hidden Moisture Risks for Los Angeles Property Owners

Company outlines inspection considerations following leaks, water damage and other conditions that may warrant professional mold and moisture evaluation
LOS ANGELES, California
Mold X Inspectors is highlighting the importance of evaluating moisture conditions following plumbing leaks, roof damage, flooding and other water-related incidents, with a focus on helping Los Angeles property owners understand when professional mold or moisture inspection may be appropriate.
The company provides mold and moisture inspections for homeowners, home buyers and sellers, landlords, property managers, real estate professionals, investors and commercial property owners across Los Angeles and surrounding Southern California communities. Depending on the property and conditions observed, an inspection may include visual evaluation, thermal imaging, infrared scanning, moisture measurements, humidity assessment and laboratory mold testing when appropriate.
Looking Beyond Visible Water Damage
A repaired leak or dried water stain does not necessarily answer whether surrounding building materials were affected. Moisture can reach drywall, flooring, cabinetry and other materials and may sometimes remain in areas that are not immediately visible.

Mold X Inspectors encourages property owners to consider the source and history of moisture rather than relying solely on visible conditions. Relevant questions can include where the water originated, which materials were affected, how long they may have remained wet and whether elevated moisture conditions remain.
A musty odor, recurring water stain, unexplained discoloration or damaged building material does not by itself establish the presence of mold. However, such conditions may provide a reason for further evaluation, particularly when there is a history of water intrusion.
When a Mold or Moisture Inspection May Be Appropriate
A professional inspection may be considered following circumstances such as:
- Plumbing or roof leaks
- Flooding or previous water damage
- Recurring water stains
- Persistent or unexplained musty odors
- Moisture around windows
- Bathroom moisture problems
- Damaged or warped flooring, drywall or baseboards
- Appliance or HVAC-related water events
- Evidence of previous water intrusion discovered during a property purchase
The appropriate response depends on the circumstances of each property. A small leak does not automatically result in mold growth, and visible discoloration cannot reliably establish the presence of mold without appropriate evaluation.
Inspection and Testing Serve Different Purposes
Mold X Inspectors distinguishes between a property inspection and laboratory testing.
A mold and moisture inspection focuses on evaluating observable conditions, identifying areas that may require additional investigation and assessing potential moisture sources. Mold testing involves collecting appropriate samples for laboratory analysis.
Testing may be useful in certain circumstances, but it is not necessarily required for every inspection. The company says the decision to recommend sampling should be based on the questions presented by the property and the conditions identified during the inspection.
Using Technology as an Investigative Tool
Mold X Inspectors may use thermal imaging, infrared scanning, moisture measurements and humidity evaluation as part of its inspection process.
Thermal imaging, however, does not directly detect or prove the presence of mold. Instead, thermal cameras identify differences in surface temperature that may indicate an area requiring closer investigation. Inspectors can compare those findings with moisture readings, visual observations and the property’s history.
Similarly, moisture meters provide information about moisture conditions in certain building materials but do not independently establish the presence of mold.
The company says technology is intended to supplement professional inspection rather than replace professional judgment.
Considerations for Los Angeles Home Buyers
Mold and moisture concerns can arise during residential real estate transactions, particularly when buyers encounter water stains, unusual odors, previous plumbing repairs or disclosures involving water intrusion.
A conventional property inspection can provide important information about a home. When specific moisture or mold concerns arise, a specialized inspection may provide additional information as part of a buyer’s due diligence.
The same consideration can apply to remodeled properties. New flooring, paint, cabinets or drywall may improve a property’s appearance, but appearance alone does not establish the property’s complete history of water exposure.
Supporting Property Owners and Managers
Landlords and property managers can encounter moisture-related issues ranging from plumbing leaks and roof problems to water intrusion between units. Commercial properties can face similar conditions involving plumbing systems, HVAC equipment, roofs and other building components.
A professional inspection can help document observable conditions, identify areas requiring additional evaluation and provide property owners or managers with information to consider when determining next steps.
Mold X Inspectors says its approach is focused on investigation rather than assumptions. A suspicious odor, stain or moisture condition does not automatically mean that extensive mold growth exists, but recurring or unexplained moisture may warrant closer attention.

Mobile wound care specialists help connect patients with licensed clinicians for evaluation and treatment of chronic, complex and difficult-to-heal wounds
LOS ANGELES, California
Healix360 Advanced Mobile Wound Care Specialists has announced an expansion of access to advanced mobile wound care services for patients throughout Southern California, helping connect individuals with licensed physicians and nurse practitioners who provide wound evaluations and treatment in private residences and care facilities.
The service is designed to support patients managing chronic, complex and difficult-to-heal wounds, including pressure injuries, sacral wounds, diabetic ulcers, venous ulcers, burn-related wounds, post-surgical wounds, traumatic wounds and other wounds that are not progressing as expected.

For patients who are homebound, have limited mobility or face challenges traveling repeatedly to outpatient appointments, Healix360 provides an option for receiving wound-care evaluations and treatment in the location where they live.
Addressing Complex and Non-Healing Wounds
Some wounds require additional evaluation when they fail to progress as expected.
Factors including diabetes, circulation issues, pressure, mobility limitations, nutritional status, infection and other underlying health conditions can affect the healing process. Healix360 focuses on helping patients and healthcare providers access additional wound-care expertise when standard wound management has not resulted in expected improvement.
Licensed clinicians evaluate wound conditions based on individual patient needs, considering factors such as wound size, depth, tissue characteristics, drainage, surrounding skin condition and relevant medical history.
Healix360 emphasizes that treatment decisions depend on each patient’s clinical situation and that wound-care outcomes vary between individuals.
Supporting Patients With Pressure Injuries and Chronic Wounds
Pressure injuries, including sacral wounds, can present significant challenges for patients with limited mobility or those who spend extended periods in beds or wheelchairs.
Healix360 provides mobile wound-care evaluations for appropriate patients who may benefit from receiving care without the additional burden of frequent transportation.
The company also supports evaluation of other challenging wound conditions, including diabetic foot ulcers, venous leg ulcers, arterial wounds, burn-related wounds and post-surgical wounds.
Bringing Wound Care Directly to Patients
Transportation difficulties can create barriers for patients who require ongoing wound monitoring.
A patient may be bedbound, dependent on specialized transportation, recovering after hospitalization or unable to easily leave their residence because of medical limitations.
Healix360 helps connect these patients with licensed clinicians who provide wound-care visits in homes and care facilities throughout Southern California.
The company works to arrange visits within 24 to 48 hours when possible, helping patients and referral sources access wound evaluations in a timely manner.
Supporting Ongoing Wound Management
Complex wounds often require continued assessment rather than a single evaluation.
During follow-up care, clinicians can monitor changes in wound measurements, drainage, tissue condition and overall progression while making treatment adjustments based on clinical findings.
Healix360 also assists with wound-care supply coordination for appropriate patients to support continuity between visits.
Resource for Healthcare Providers and Caregivers
Healix360 works with patients, families, healthcare professionals, home health agencies, discharge planners, assisted living communities, residential care facilities and other referral sources seeking additional wound-care support.
Referral information may include patient documentation, wound-care orders, clinical notes and wound photographs when available.
The company then helps facilitate access to an appropriate licensed clinician for evaluation.
Serving Southern California Communities
Healix360 provides access to advanced mobile wound-care services across Southern California, including communities throughout Los Angeles County, Orange County, Riverside County, San Bernardino County, Ventura County and surrounding areas.
The company’s mobile approach is designed to help reduce access barriers for patients who may have difficulty reaching specialized wound-care facilities.

Irvine, CA
Troutman Amin, LLP announced today that it has elevated Danielle “Dani” Cuevas to Chief Operating Officer as the firm continues its aggressive growth trajectory for its non-legal holdings.
“Troutman Amin, LLP has grown every quarter since the firm was created and we need strong C-Suite leadership to help guide our operations moving forward.” Firm founder Puja J. Amin says. “We focused on promoting from within for this role and Dani was the obvious choice given her commitment, tenacity and incredible capabilities.”

Cuevas joined the firm in 2024 and has quickly risen through the ranks as a loyal and assertive manager who assures the Firm’s various initiatives are pursued with vigor and tact.

Just couldn’t do it without here.”
Cuevas’ ability to wear multiple hats has proven critical to the success of the firm’s multifaceted ambitions.

Winners love that. Dani assures the attorneys stay focused on what they do best– winning–while the firm’s other functions are run perfectly. And she’s been amazing at her job.”

“Dani’s abilities were really on display bringing LCOC IV to life.” Amin says. “That was an incredibly complex show with thousands of moving parts– Dani took command and absolutely nailed it. We literally couldn’t do half the amazing things we do around here without her. We all just appreciate her so much.”
Moving forward firm partner Eric J. Troutman says he expects the firm’s “Deserve to Win” brand will continue to drive revenue growth–and Cuevas will be a huge part of that success.
“The firm is more than just a premier law firm. It owns a hot apparel line, a well-read magazine and the best legal conference in the nation.” Troutman says. “All of these non-core offerings will drive revenue gains throughout 2027– and Dani is spearheading these non-legal initiative to assure we monetize the unique position the firm holds in the public’s imagination, now and in the future. Translation: People love us! And Dani will help the firm cash in on that as our lawyers stay focused on being the best in the nation at what they do. “
For her part Cuevas was honored by the promotion and pledged to work even harder to be worthy of the executive level title.
“This is incredibly meaningful to me and I will put in as much work as necessary to assure success in this new role.” Cuevas says. “I love this firm, its culture, and its trajectory. Its an honor to even be a part of it– and simply humbling to be part of its leadership. I am grateful to the partnership for the trust they are placing in me– and I will not let them down.”
Troutman Amin, LLP is nationally recognized complex litigation defense and privacy consulting law firm headquartered in Irvine, California. The firm has established a reputation as the country’s leading powerhouse for Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA) and California Invasion of Privacy (CIPA) defense and compliance.
