With 24 years of service, the family-owned and operated agency continues to serve as a trusted local resource for families navigating memory care.
Recent observations from local care teams and family feedback show that clear routines, consistent caregivers, and coordinated care planning play a significant role in helping seniors remain calm, safe, and engaged at home. These elements also help families feel more confident in long-term care decisions.
Services and Daily Structure in Dementia Home Care Programs
Findings highlight that dementia-focused home care programs provide structured support that promotes comfort, familiarity, and emotional stability. Services often include personal care assistance, meal preparation, medication reminders, mobility support, and companionship. Caregivers also help maintain predictable daily routines, which can reduce confusion and promote a sense of security for seniors living with memory challenges.
The daily structure typically includes morning hygiene assistance, scheduled meals, light physical activity, cognitive engagement, and an evening wind-down routine. Familiar schedules often help seniors remain more relaxed and responsive, while also supporting better sleep and emotional balance.
Comfort Keepers of Madison notes that families often experience meaningful improvements when consistent caregivers become familiar, trusted companions. This continuity allows caregivers to recognize subtle behavioral changes and provide calm, supportive responses that promote emotional comfort.
Care Planning, Safety, and Caregiver Coordination
The report also emphasizes the importance of personalized care planning and coordinated caregiver support. Home care programs typically begin with a detailed evaluation of the senior’s needs, living environment, and daily challenges. Care plans focus on safety, fall prevention, medication support, and maintaining independence for as long as possible.
Safety measures frequently include home adjustments, mobility guidance, and monitoring routines that help reduce confusion-related risks. Caregiver coordination is vital, with teams regularly communicating with families and healthcare professionals to ensure consistent care delivery and monitor evolving needs.
Families working with experienced home care agencies often describe greater peace of mind, knowing care is guided by trained professionals who understand the progression of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. Long-standing community providers like Comfort Keepers help families feel supported throughout every stage of care.

AD Mortgage’s Non-QM AUS Named 2026 Game Changer Award Winner

Fort Lauderdale, FL
AD Mortgage, a leading wholesale lender in the United States, has been named a 2026 Game Changer Award winner by PROGRESS in Lending for its Non-QM Automated Underwriting System (AUS), recognizing a major advancement in mortgage technology that brings automated underwriting to one of the industry’s most complex and historically difficult-to-automate segments.
The Game Changer Awards recognize new solutions and advancements to existing technologies that address meaningful industry challenges and improve the mortgage lending process. AD Mortgage was the first lender in the industry to launch an automated underwriting system specifically for Non-QM lending, bringing automation to a segment that has historically been difficult to automate due to complex borrower profiles, alternative income documentation and flexible program guidelines..
Integrated directly into AD Mortgage’s AIM Partner Portal, Non-QM AUS gives brokers a faster path to pre-approval by automatically evaluating Non-QM scenarios and generating loan-specific conditions. This allows brokers to quickly determine whether a borrower may be a fit, bringing greater speed, consistency and clarity to a process that has traditionally relied heavily on manual review.
“Non-QM lending requires flexibility, but that shouldn’t mean brokers have to sacrifice speed or clarity,” said Max Slyusarchuk, CEO of AD Mortgage. “We built Non-QM AUS around the way our partners actually work, giving them technology that helps simplify complex scenarios and provides clearer direction earlier in the process. Being recognized as a Game Changer validates the work our team has done to solve a real challenge in the Non-QM market.”
Key highlights include:
- Named a 2026 Game Changer Award winner by PROGRESS in Lending
- Built specifically to support complex Non-QM scenarios, including Bank Statement, DSCR and ITIN programs
- Integrated directly into the AIM Partner Portal, allowing brokers to access automated underwriting within their existing AD Mortgage workflow
- Provides automated loan decisions and program-specific conditions to give brokers greater clarity earlier in the process
The recognition comes as mortgage professionals increasingly look to lenders for technology that integrates more effectively into their existing workflows. AD Mortgage’s recent Technology in the Mortgage Industry survey found that 82.2% of mortgage professionals consider technology integration highly important, while 33.5% said they expect to adopt technology with lender support. These findings reinforce the growing demand for connected technology that helps brokers manage the lending process more efficiently.
The Game Changer Award further supports AD Mortgage’s focus on becoming The Lender of Choice by developing technology around the needs of its broker partners and addressing areas of the mortgage process where greater automation can have a meaningful impact.

Orlando, FL
Bed Bug Exterminator (BBE), a Florida company that treats bed bug infestations, has expanded its service into the Orlando metro area. The company now covers Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties, working from its existing office in Winter Garden. Service is available in Kissimmee, Sanford, Apopka, Winter Park, and Oviedo.

The expansion follows a rise in bed bug activity across Florida. In a 2026 Top 50 Bed Bug Cities list, Tampa entered the ranking for the first time at No. 46 and Miami placed No. 47. The list is based on Orkin treatment data collected between May 2025 and May 2026. Experts agree that many of the worst cities for bed bugs are also popular travel destinations, and that the insects often travel home with visitors in luggage.
Orlando fits that pattern. According to Visit Orlando, the region drew a record 75.3 million visitors in 2024, more than any other destination in the United States. High visitor volume moves large numbers of people through hotels and short-term rentals, which gives bed bugs regular opportunities to move between properties.
“Orlando has been on our list for a while, and the numbers made the decision for us,” said Allan Bossel, Operations Expert at Bed Bug Exterminator. “This market’s AirBnbs and hotels are full of travelers visiting Disney, Universal, and everything else Orlando has to offer. That’s tens of millions of guests which means a guaranteed movement of bed bugs into the market. People need someone who can treat the problem reliably the first time.”
Warm weather adds to the problem, because bed bugs develop faster in warmer conditions. Ohio State University Extension reports that bed bugs develop from egg to adult in about 21 days at 86°F, compared with about 120 days at 65°F. Florida’s climate
keeps conditions in that faster range for much of the year.
Bed Bug Exterminator treats infestations with heat rather than repeat chemical spraying. The company heats the interior of a property to approximately 140°F, a
temperature that bed bugs and their eggs do not survive. As that temperature is maintained over a period of hours, the heat reaches into wall voids, mattress seams, and furniture where sprays often miss. Most treatments are completed in a single visit, which the company markets as its “1 Day & Done” service.
Bossel founded Michigan Bed Bug Specialists before joining Bed Bug Exterminator, and he brings more than a decade of experience in pest extermination and laboratory work to the role.
“We treat bed bugs and nothing else,” Bossel said. “We have built the company around one excellent service, and we plan to hold the Orlando work to the same standard as the rest of our Florida coverage.”
Residents and property managers in the Orlando area can request an inspection or a no-obligation quote by phone. Allan Bossel is available for interviews on bed bug activity in Florida and on heat treatment.
About Bed Bug Exterminator
Bed Bug Exterminator eliminates bed bugs in a single visit across Florida — including Wesley Chapel, Largo, Winter Park, and Hudson — and throughout Maryland, including Gaithersburg, Germantown, and Columbia, all backed by our guarantee.
