Rise Expands Employer of Record Coverage for Global AI Startups

Published

on

Rise, the global payroll, compliance, and workforce platform for modern teams, today announced expanded Employer of Record coverage to help AI startups hire full-time employees internationally without setting up local legal entities.

The expansion gives AI startups a faster way to access top global talent across key hiring markets, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Cyprus, New Zealand, and South Africa.

Rise’s broader EOR rollout is continuing through 2026, giving fast-scaling AI companies more flexibility in how they build compliant international teams.

As AI startups compete globally for engineers, researchers, product operators, and go-to-market talent, international hiring has become a core part of how these companies scale.

Rise’s EOR infrastructure is built to remove the delays and complexity of local incorporation, employment setup, payroll registration, and ongoing labor law administration so startups can focus on hiring the right people faster.

Since launch, Rise has enabled companies to hire, onboard, and pay global teams across 190+ countries using both local currencies and crypto rails.

With EOR, AOR, and contractor payment infrastructure under one platform, Rise is giving AI startups a more unified way to manage both full-time employees and independent contractors as their teams evolve.

Hiring for AI Startups, Without Local Entities

Rise’s Employer of Record model allows AI startups to hire full-time employees in supported countries without opening a local entity.

Rise handles employment contracts, payroll operations, tax documentation, onboarding workflows, and local labor law compliance, while the startup manages the employee’s day-to-day work.

Why Rise EOR Is Built for AI Startups

Rise Employer of Record for AI startups is a strong fit because it combines compliant global hiring with the funding and payout flexibility modern AI teams actually need.

AI trainer roles grew 283% cross-border in 2025, and more than 70,000 workers were already training AI systems globally by the end of the year, which means startups need faster access to international talent, not slower local-entity setup.

Rise lets companies hire without opening a local entity, fund payroll by USD bank transfer or USDC/USDT, and let employees withdraw in local currency, stablecoins, crypto, or a split on each cycle.

That is a materially stronger operating model than legacy EOR structures built around fixed payroll rails.

The scale is already proven: Rise has processed $1.37B+ in lifetime payroll volume, including $776.98M in the last 12 months alone, with stablecoin withdrawals exceeding deposits by $154.5M, showing real demand for flexible, cross-border payroll infrastructure at production scale.

Built for Global, Flexible Payroll

Rise combines compliant employment infrastructure with hybrid payroll capabilities that fit the operating model of many AI startups.

Employers can fund payroll in USD, USDC, or USDT, while workers can withdraw in local currency, stablecoins, or other supported crypto assets depending on their preferences.

Rise also handles KYC, AML, and tax-related documentation as part of the broader onboarding and payment flow.

From Contractors to Employees on One Platform

Many AI startups begin with international contractors before converting key hires into full-time employees.

Rise supports both models through its Agent of Record and Employer of Record infrastructure, giving startups a clearer path from early contractor-based hiring to long-term employee expansion.

This helps teams reduce fragmentation across vendors while staying aligned with the right compliance model for each worker type.

  • EOR supports full-time employees.
  • AOR is designed for independent contractors and contractor classification workflows.

Rise’s Vision for Global AI Hiring

The acceleration of AI hiring has changed how startups think about talent access.

Companies are no longer building teams in one geography first and expanding later. They are hiring globally from the start, and they need employment infrastructure that matches that reality.

“With AI startups, speed matters across every function, including hiring,” said Hugo Finkelstein, CEO of Rise. “Our EOR expansion is about helping these companies hire the best people in the right markets without getting blocked by entity setup, payroll friction, or local compliance complexity.”

About Rise

Rise is a global payroll, compliance, and workforce infrastructure platform that enables businesses to hire, onboard, and pay employees and contractors across 190+ countries using fiat and crypto payment rails.

Rise’s products include Employer of Record, Agent of Record, and Global Contractor Pay.

California CPS and Juvenile Dependency Attorney Lauren Johnson-Norris Marks 24 Years Representing Parents and Families

California attorney Lauren Johnson-Norris, founder of Johnson Criminal Law Group, marks 24 years representing parents and families in Child Protective Services investigations, juvenile dependency court proceedings, and dependency appeals. Over her career she has handled more than 2,500 juvenile dependency matters and more than 1,000 dependency appeals, and has served as appellate counsel in three published Court of Appeal decisions.

Her practice covers representation during CPS and child abuse investigations, defending parents in proceedings under Welfare and Institutions Code section 300, litigating removal and reunification issues, handling Child Abuse Central Index grievance hearings, and representing clients on appeal throughout the state.

“Dependency cases are unlike almost any other area of law because parents can be dealing simultaneously with a CPS investigation, allegations of abuse or neglect, removal of their children, a dependency court case, and sometimes a related criminal investigation,” Johnson-Norris said. “Effective representation requires understanding not just dependency law, but how decisions made at the very beginning of an investigation can affect a family throughout the case.”

Published Decisions

A published Court of Appeal opinion becomes precedent that can be cited in future cases, which makes it a meaningful marker of appellate work. Johnson-Norris has served as appellate counsel in three such decisions:

In re Drake M. (Cal. Ct. App., 2nd Dist., No. B236769, Dec. 5, 2012), where she obtained reversal of a juvenile court jurisdictional finding for her client.

In re D.P. (Cal. Ct. App., 3rd Dist., Nos. C093132/C093535, Mar. 10, 2022), where she obtained reversal of an order terminating her client’s parental rights.

In re Priscilla D. (Cal. Ct. App., 5th Dist., No. F069317, Mar. 4, 2015), where she served as appellate counsel in the published decision.

Together, the three cases reflect experience on both the trial and appellate sides of California’s dependency system.

CPS Investigations and Court Representation

Johnson Criminal Law Group represents parents, guardians, relatives, and caregivers involved with California child welfare agencies in matters involving allegations of abuse, neglect, domestic violence, substance use, mental health concerns, and failure to protect. The firm’s work spans pre-filing investigations, detention and jurisdiction hearings, disposition hearings, reunification and review proceedings, contested evidentiary hearings, termination of parental rights proceedings, and appeals.

Johnson-Norris’s background in both criminal defense and dependency law becomes especially relevant when a CPS investigation runs alongside a criminal one. “A parent can make a statement to a social worker believing they’re simply cooperating with CPS, without realizing the same allegation may also be under investigation by law enforcement,” she said. “Those overlapping cases require careful coordination, because a decision made in one proceeding can carry real consequences in the other.”

Child Abuse Central Index Hearings

The firm also represents clients across Southern California in Child Abuse Central Index grievance hearings. CACI is the state’s index of substantiated child abuse and severe neglect reports, and a person can be listed following a county investigation even without a criminal conviction. At a grievance hearing, Johnson-Norris challenges the evidence behind the county’s finding and seeks to have the listing removed.

More Than Two Decades in Practice

Johnson-Norris began practicing California juvenile dependency law in 2002 and founded Johnson Criminal Law Group in September 2009. In total, the firm’s attorneys have handled more than 30,000 legal matters and now represent families in Orange, Los Angeles, San Diego, Riverside, and San Bernardino Counties, with an appellate practice that handles juvenile dependency appeals from courts statewide.

Johnson-Norris has been selected to Super Lawyers eight times and was recently named Face of Criminal Law by Orange Coast Magazine. She continues to personally handle dependency and CPS matters, while the firm’s appellate work has grown to include a dedicated appellate attorney, allowing the practice to represent a family from the earliest stages of an investigation through trial and, when needed, appeal.

Sun West Mortgage Company and AngelAi have officially announced the launch of Angel Agents, a proprietary enterprise architecture designed to solve a persistent hurdle in modern business technology. Historically, organizations struggled to provide personalized, constantly available artificial intelligence to thousands of users without incurring exorbitant infrastructure costs or operational complexities.

Built upon the OpenClaw platform, the Angel Agents framework introduces a highly efficient multi-tenant deployment model. Thousands of users can securely share a single system while keeping their individual data completely private. This innovative approach eliminates the prohibitive expenses and severe operational challenges traditionally associated with isolated, single-tenant AI deployments.

Deploying a personal Angel Agent is remarkably rapid, requiring approximately sixty seconds from sign-up to a fully functional state. The streamlined setup process requires no hardware installations, IT department intervention, or prior software experience.

“With our new Angel Agents architecture, we have shattered that barrier,” said Pavan Agarwal, CEO of Sun West Mortgage Company and Creator of AngelAI. By integrating a secure framework, the company is successfully democratizing access to high-level artificial intelligence.

Getting started with this new technology is just as simple as the architecture is powerful. The deployment process for an individual Angel Agent is remarkably rapid, requiring approximately sixty seconds from sign-up to a fully functional state. Furthermore, this streamlined setup process does not require the user to have any hardware installations, nor does it necessitate intervention from an IT department or any prior experience with artificial intelligence or software development. Anyone can go from sign-up to a fully working AI agent in about the time it takes to read this sentence.

Accelerating Innovation: Angel Agents Capabilities

The architectural strategy underpinning Angel Agents relies on a robust technological foundation fully actualized in the recent AngelAI Version Sena release. The system acts as a powerful analytical tool, allowing users to seamlessly monitor news cycles, evaluate real estate markets, and deeply research competitors and emerging business opportunities.

Professionals can leverage the agent to construct long-term growth strategies, formulate business plans, and develop targeted marketing content, including social media posts, bios, and buyer/seller presentations. To enhance daily productivity, the software tracks milestones, creates detailed action plans, and manages user priorities with automated reminders to prevent overload. Furthermore, it serves as an AI coach to help users prepare meticulously for high-stakes client conversations.

In the realm of research and strategic intelligence, the system serves as a powerful analytical tool. The AI can thoroughly analyze real estate markets, monitor industry trends, and evaluate competitors. Users can rely on the agent to seamlessly monitor news cycles, provide concise summaries, and deeply research various neighborhoods and emerging business opportunities. When it comes to planning, users can leverage the agent to formulate comprehensive business plans, construct long-term growth strategies, and establish detailed weekly execution schedules.

The Sena release also transforms marketing and content creation. The artificial intelligence can instantly generate compelling social media posts and captions, write polished professional bios and brand messaging, and develop highly targeted presentations tailored for both buyers and sellers. To drive tangible business growth, the platform aids professionals in creating strategic lead generation plans, designing broad outreach campaigns, and drafting effective communication scripts. Furthermore, the system acts as an AI coach, answering complex inquiries to provide expert guidance and helping users prepare meticulously for high-stakes client conversations.

To ensure ultimate efficiency, the software fundamentally enhances daily productivity and organization. Individuals can utilize the tool to create detailed daily action plans while diligently tracking milestones, metrics, and long-term goals. The agent is also uniquely adept at local and online discovery, easily identifying local events, nearby businesses, vendors, and essential services. Through proactive assistance, the software tracks user priorities to prevent overload and provides essential follow-up support and automated reminders.

Precision Financial Decision-Making

In the highly regulated context of lending, the Sena release provides substantial enhancements in both accuracy and speed via an uncertainty-aware decision framework. This sophisticated system understands the uncertainty inherent in the real world (what humans perceive as intuition) and constantly assesses its own confidence level regarding a specific determination. Consequently, AngelAi refrains from issuing a speculative response and seamlessly executes augmented intelligence algorithms which integrate real-time human consultants.

This high level of reliability is facilitated by the Transactional Language Model (TLM) architecture developed by Celligence. Rather than simply predicting text, this architecture reasons at the fundamental level of investor rules, borrower context, guidelines, overlays, and underlying concepts. Consequently, the artificial intelligence produces reproducible, traceable, and deterministic decision paths that are perfectly suited for rigorous audit standards.

“The future of Ai is about having one trusted intelligence that understands your world, learns your needs, and helps you make better decisions every day,” said Pavan Agarwal, Founder and CEO of Celligence LLC. Early adopter Charles La Flair reported that working with an Angel Agent led to an immediate surge in business efficiency, allowing for dramatically shorter timelines and faster execution.

“The level of efficiency in my business surged almost immediately,” said Charles La Flair (NMLS 220926) of All in Lending (NMLS 1935005), an early user. “Once you know what you want to do, you simply work with your Angel Agent to achieve it in way shorter timelines, leading to faster execution.”

Availability & Deployment

Sena is now available. Managed and secure Angel Agent deployments typically will go live within minutes and require zero in-house engineering staff or long-term contracts. Access is granted through the platform’s flexible Angel Points system rather than a standard cash subscription model, giving businesses an agile, scalable path to adoption. Since users can earn Angel Points as rewards for simply using the system, Angel Agents will not cost anything for most customers.

The latest release of AngelAi takes its name, Sena (सेना), from the Sanskrit word Astasena (अष्टसेना or 八部衆 in Japanese), a reference to a protective and divine army of Angels in Buddhism.

New curated line of corporate wine gift baskets, premium champagne sets, and engraved bottle gifts designed for businesses, HR teams, and corporate gifting occasions

Wine & Champagne Gifts, a leading name in beverage gifting, today announced the launch of its Corporate Wine Gifts Collection 2026, a new range built specifically for businesses looking to send high-impact, ready-to-ship corporate wine gift baskets to clients, employees, and partners. The collection arrives as more companies shift toward personalized, premium gifting to strengthen client relationships and reward teams during the holiday and year-end season.

champagne Wine & Champagne Gifts Launches Corporate Wine Gifts Collection 2026

The Corporate Wine Gifts Collection 2026 is designed to answer one of the most common questions corporate buyers ask: “What is the best corporate wine gift basket for clients?” Wine & Champagne Gifts built the collection around three parameters, recognizable premium brands, fast bulk ordering for HR and procurement teams, and customizable presentation for corporate branding.

At the core of the new lineup are gift sets built around some of the most requested names in corporate gifting:

  • Veuve Clicquot gift set: a champagne gift set featuring the iconic yellow-label bottle, paired with premium glassware and packaging suited for client appreciation gifts and executive send-offs.
  • Dom Perignon gift set: positioned as the collection’s top-tier offering, ideal for VIP clients, key accounts, and milestone corporate anniversaries.
  • Caymus gift set: a Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon gift set aimed at companies that prefer a bold red wine option for corporate wine gift baskets over champagne.

“Corporate gifting has moved beyond generic gift baskets. Buyers want a recognizable label like Veuve Clicquot or Dom Perignon in the box, not just a generic bottle,” said Tom Gera, Co-founder at Wine & Champagne Gifts. “This collection was built directly around what corporate buyers search for and ask their gifting vendors for every year.”

Wine and Glass Sets, Champagne Flutes, and Engraved Bottles Also Added

Alongside the flagship corporate wine gift baskets, Wine & Champagne Gifts is also expanding its catalog with three additional product lines aimed at businesses that want a lighter-touch or more personalized gift:

Wine and glass sets are now available as a standalone corporate gifting option, featuring an elegant bottle of wine. Champagne flutes gift sets round out the celebratory gifting category, giving companies a ready-made option for product launches, promotions, and end-of-year toasts. For businesses that want a more personal touch, the engraved champagne bottles line allows companies to add a logo, name, or custom message directly onto the bottle, a perfect option for executive gifts, retirement send-offs, and long-term client milestones.

About Wine & Champagne Gifts

Wine & Champagne Gifts specializes in curated, wine and champagne gifting solutions for individuals and businesses alike. With a focus on quality, presentation, and personalization, the company has become a trusted partner for corporate gifting needs across the US.
